God only knows, as long as I can remember, though I feel like I only really discovered the internet within the past 5 or 6 years. As far back as I can remember we had a time limit to use the internet; first it was 30 minutes a day, then eventually an hour or so, but I didn't use it for much so it was okay. Eventually it got to be about two hours, but maybe twice a day. Eventually I just started going on whenever and only disconnecting during hours when people would be likely to call the house phone. Sadly I only escaped dial-up less than 9 months ago when we moved to the city, as my old house couldn't get dsl or wifi from any provider - believe me, we tried them all. So I finally feel like part of the 21st century, no longer needing to abuse school internet to download things or watch youtube videos...feels good man.
