1.Most of the websites sold on eBay have very bad content.

2.Some of the sellers require you to host with them after the sale is done. If you have a server and want to move your site they will charge you and tell you that they do not guarantee that the website will work.

3.Fake promises. They will tell you that a site generates a certain amount of income and give you all the stats and details, but we all know that it is real hard to get a site to generate decent income.

4. They also claim that you do not need any experience to run the site. However, how are you going to get traffic or try to make the site better?
