I hate how everyone think's it's great to have good keyword meta tags. Google NEVER has taken the meta keyword into account and never will. This idea of stuffing it with keywords is a total waste of time and can have a serious negitive effect on your Page Rank. I'll have to write a main topic clarifing everything.

"Mr Happy" is right, Google has never cared about the keywords in Meta Tags, however there are still plenty of other search engines that do. And yes, never stuff it full of keywords, a maximum of 25 I would say - most search engines only take notice of the first 15-25 keywords within Meta Tags.

Unfortunately, those recommendations on how to get "indexed" quicker won't actually help to get indexed quicker - you can only help a website to get indexed quicker by submitting new Site Maps. If you hear anything other than this - it's wrong.
